“I have tremendous pride in how we have transformed, how we have performed and the impact that we have had,” says Snowflake’s former global channel chief, Tyler Prince.

Snowflake’s global channel chief, Tyler Prince, has left the data cloud company after two years of leading its worldwide channel and alliances business.

“After two exciting years, I’ve made the difficult decision to leave Snowflake,” said Prince, global leader of alliances and channels at Snowflake, on LinkedIn.

“I have tremendous pride in how we have transformed, how we have performed and the impact that we have had,” Prince said. “The Snowflake Partner Network is stronger than ever with 10,000+ partners globally.”

Prince was responsible for scaling the global partner business across Snowflake’s ecosystem of consulting partners, systems integrators, ISVs, resellers and cloud providers.

Since he joined Snowflake in June 2023, the San Mateo, Calif.-based company has added more than 2,300 partners to its program as of early 2025.

Prince was named to CRN’s list of The 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs of 2025.

Prior to Snowflake, he was channel chief at Salesforce as executive vice president of global alliances.

Prince’s LinkedIn post announcing his departure has nearly 100 comments from many channel partners, Snowflake and Salesforce executives.

“Thank you Tyler for building an incredible partner ecosystem,” said Rajesh Pawar, CEO of Snowflake partner Kasmo, on LinkedIn. “We cherish all your support and good luck with your next endeavor.”

“It’s been a pleasure working with you and witnessing the Snowflake ecosystem thrive under your leadership,” said Hasan Mirza, cloud technology alliances leader for Dataiku, on LinkedIn. “Thank you for your partnership and for working closely with us at Dataiku—your support has made a real impact.”

Prince could not be reached for comment by press time. Snowflake did not respond for comment by press time regarding if the company had selected a new channel leader to replace Prince yet.

Prince’s Next Job To Be Unveiled Soon

Prince did not shed light on where he would land next but said he will provide an update “on my next career chapter” in the coming weeks.

“The path forward is bright,” Prince said.

“With this talented team, a thriving ecosystem and the support from [CEO] Sridhar Ramaswamy and [CRO] Michael Gannon, I have no doubt that Snowflake and its partner ecosystem will continue to innovate, grow, and enjoy remarkable success,” he said.

Before Snowflake and Salesforce, Prince worked as PwC’s global Oracle practice leader. Prior to PwC, he held various management positions at Oracle, PeopleSoft, IBM and Andersen Consulting.

On the executive hiring front, Snowflake recently hired Gannon as its new CRO. Gannon joined Snowflake from VMware by Broadcom where he served as president of Americas ales.
