TYSONS, Va., May 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Digital Global Systems (DGS), a leader in AI-powered spectrum optimization and RF awareness, today announced the appointment of Lewis C. Merletti to its Advisory Board. Merletti, the 19th Director of the United States Secret Service and a decorated U.S. Army Green Beret, brings decades of strategic leadership and security expertise to support DGS’s mission in protecting and optimizing wireless infrastructure.

As Director of the U.S. Secret Service, Merletti oversaw the protection of Presidents Reagan, Bush, and Clinton, and later brought his expertise to the private sector as Senior Vice President of Security for the Cleveland Browns. He currently advises global security firms and major tactical technology companies and is an active thought leader in high-threat risk management and executive protection.

“Lew’s unparalleled experience in both national security and private sector risk operations is a tremendous asset as we scale our spectrum awareness platform,” said Fernando Murias, Chairman and CEO of DGS. “His insights into threat environments and leadership under pressure will directly inform our work with government and enterprise customers operating in mission-critical environments.”

Merletti joins the DGS Advisory Board at a time of significant growth, as the company expands commercial deployments of its patented AI technology and continues to secure new licensing and defense sector opportunities.
