Timed with the 32-mile crossing of the Ka’iwi Channel—one of the world’s most grueling endurance events—the new edition features Florence’s signature yellow and is built to thrive in extreme aquatic conditions. The headphones are available now exclusively at the Florence website, h2oaudio.com/Florence, and at select Florence retailers.

“This partnership with Florence is about more than sound,” said Kristian Rauhala, founder and CEO of H2O Audio. “It’s about creating gear that matches the mindset of water athletes—resilient, focused, and always moving forward. Whether you’re paddling open water or swimming at your local pool, music drives performance.”

The limited-edition TRI 2 features H2O Audio’s award-winning open-ear bone conduction technology, combined with a best-in-class IPX8 waterproof rating. Built for use in and under the water, the headphones deliver rich, immersive sound without blocking ambient noise—so athletes stay aware of their surroundings without compromising safety. With eight hours of battery life, they’re made to go the distance in the world’s most demanding environments.

“At Florence, we build gear with purpose—for athletes who thrive in the elements,” said Pat O’Connell, president of Florence. “This collaboration is an extension of that—equipment that inspires you to get out there, whether you’re crossing open ocean or training close to home.”

Florence athlete Toa Pere earned a second-place finish at this year’s M2O Paddleboard World Championships. Wearing the limited-edition TRI 2 x Florence headphones from H2O Audio, Pere navigated winds, swells, and the punishing final miles of a race that, for his family, is more than a competition, it’s a rite of passage and a generational expression of ocean knowledge.

This launch reflects both brands’ shared commitment to empowering athletes through innovation, exploration, and endurance—bringing music to places most audio products can’t go.
