BMC recognized for its Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision

HOUSTON, Aug. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — BMC, a global leader in software solutions enabling business faster than humanly possible, was recognized as a Leader and in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms (SOAP) [1].  A complimentary copy of the report is available for download here.

According to Gartner, “SOAPs empower infrastructure and operations (I&O) leaders to streamline and accelerate the delivery of business services. These platforms integrate workflow orchestration, workload automation and resource provisioning across an organization’s hybrid IT landscape.” Increasingly, they are central to an organization’s ability to deploy workloads and to optimize deployments as a part of cost and availability initiatives.

BMC’s Control-M platform, available as SaaS and self-hosted, allows customers to jumpstart and scale their automation efforts, without costly hardware deployment, and take advantage of the scalability and reliability that only Control-M can deliver with 30 years of innovation.

The Control-M platform offers:

  • Jett, a generative AI-powered advisor for real-time insights and smarter decision making
  • AI/ML pipeline orchestration and file transfer management with universal visibility and control of workflows
  • Hundreds of out-of-the-box integrations, including many introduced in the last year
  • Continuous innovation through jobs-as-code, extending dev and ops collaboration

“BMC believes this recognition underscores our relentless focus on innovation. From orchestrating multi-cloud data pipelines to enabling AI-driven operations across hybrid environments, we continue to help enterprises stay ahead of the curve,” said Abhijit Kakhandiki, senior vice president and general manager for Digital Business Automation at BMC. “As businesses embrace the next wave of transformation, Control-M provides the foundation to scale automation with confidence and agility.”
