The acquisition of Spacetime positions Vitesse as the predominant supplier of multi-band antenna solutions

Post this

Founded in 2013, Spacetime Engineering is a leading provider of high-performance antenna feeds for ground-based satellite and gateway antenna systems. Spacetime has built a reputation for its expertise in complex antenna feed configurations that can operate across a broad range of frequencies, enabling increased data download rates and transmission speeds, regardless of orbit.

David Stinnett, Partner at Trive Capital, stated, “With the acquisition of Spacetime, we’ve significantly enhanced our ground antenna capabilities. This addition complements our existing Space and Airborne solutions, allowing us to deliver a complete, connected battlefield solution. Our ability to close the RF link across the entire battlespace is our key differentiator, and this acquisition solidifies that position.”

“Joining Vitesse provides us with the platform to reduce design and production timelines while giving us the scale to deliver antenna solutions to a wider range of customers and programs,” commented Hans Spieleder, President & CEO at Spacetime Engineering. “Our team is passionate about developing innovative RF and antenna systems, and I believe Vitesse is the perfect partner to support our next phase of growth.”

Matthew Alty, CEO at Vitesse, added, “We are excited to have Spacetime join Vitesse. As Space has become an increasingly contested domain, customers require ground antenna solutions that can operate across a broader range of frequencies. By combining Spacetime’s multi-band ground antenna expertise with our current Space and Airborne-related antenna solutions, we are uniquely positioned to help our customers transmit, collect, and distribute data quicker, regardless of orbit or mission area.”
