During his seven years at Juniper Networks, incoming HP Solutions President Manoj Leelanivas was responsible for all products, marketing, engineering and cloud operations. He also spent four years as president and CEO of Cyphort, a security analytics platform that was acquired by Juniper.

HP Solutions President Dave Shull, who arrived at the PC maker when it acquired workplace collaboration-focused Poly for $3.3 billion in 2022, said he will leave his position after three years at HP with former Juniper COO Manoj Leelanivas named as his replacement.

“Dave ( Shull) has been a trusted voice across the organization, a passionate advocate for our customers, and widely respected – both within HP and across the industry. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him continued success on his journey,” HP CEO Enrique Lores said in a post to LinkedIn on Thursday.

Prior to joining HP, Shull (pictured) worked at The Weather Channel, Tivo, and then Poly. Through his role as president, HP Solutions, Shull led HP’s Workforce Solutions, Hybrid Systems/Poly, and Advanced Compute Solutions.

“Together, we’ve built something real: a solutions business that functions and feels like more than the sum of its parts,” he wrote in statement posted to LinkedIn on Thursday. “We’ve brought hardware, software, services, and support together into one team with one shared purpose – helping people and companies work better in a changing world. I could feel the difference we were making in every interaction with every customer and partner in the industry.”

Shull did not announce where he was headed after HP. Lores said Shull will stay with the company as an advisor until the end of the year. Lores said Leelanivas will take over as president of HP Solutions on Dec. 1.

“(Leelanivas) brings decades of industry experience to our organization that will be instrumental in advancing our ambitions to be a leader in the Future of Work,” Lores wrote.

During his seven years at Juniper Networks, Leelanivas was responsible for all products, marketing, engineering and cloud operations. He also spent four years as president and CEO of Cyphort, a security analytics platform that was acquired by Juniper.

In October, HP announced several high-profile leadership changes with the longtime boss of its PC division leaving, a new strategy officer coming aboard, and the appointment of a permanent leader for its North American market.

After three decades at HP, Alex Cho, president of HP’s personal systems business announced he would leave the company on Dec. 31, the same day that Shull is departing. Lores named Ketan Patel to replace Cho.

Prior to that appointment, Patel had spent 20 years at HP with the most recent three years as chief operating officer of global personal systems, leading the day-to-day activities of the division.

HP also announced that the company had hired 10-year Logitech veteran Prakash Arunkundrum for a newly created role: chief strategy and transformation officer.
