Check out the companies making the biggest moves premarket: Tesla — Shares climbed nearly 5% after the EV maker unveiled its long-awaited second-generation Roadster . The vehicle uses SpaceX-developed rocket-style thrusters and demonstrated aerial maneuvers at the event Thursday. Tesla describes it as the world’s first flying car and expects production to begin in 2028. SpaceX — The rocket company also got a boost from the Tesla Roadster unveil, rising more than 1%. A price target increase from Evercore ISI and rival Blue Origin laying out plans to ramp New Glenn launches to multiple flights per week by the end of the decade lifted the stock as well. Alcoa — The aluminum producer rose more than 2% on better-than-expected earnings for the third quarter, helped by a rebound in its alumina business . CoreWeave — Shares of the compute provider fell 4% premarket as Thursday’s rebound appeared to be short-lived. The stock has come under pressure this week as investors brace for higher interest rates that might impact the highly indebted company. Netflix — Shares fell nearly 1.5% premarket after the streaming giant announced a leadership shake-up. Chief content officer Bela Bajaria is leaving the company and will be replaced by former Disney executive Peter Rice. The change comes only a day after Netflix said it would cut roughly 6% of its workforce , or about 1,000 jobs. Travelers — The insurance giant fell 4% even after the company reported third-quarter results that beat analyst expectations. Travelers posted core third-quarter earnings of $9.18 per share on revenue of $12.48 billion. Analysts polled by LSEG expected a profit of $7.42 per share on revenue of $11.38 billion. — CNBC’s Fred Imbert contributed reporting
