Check out the companies making the biggest moves midday: Independent Bank — Shares of the Michigan-based bank holding company jumped almost 5% after third-quarter earnings surpassed estimates. Independent Bank earned $1.90 per share, topping the FactSet consensus call for $1.85 per share. Net interest income of $220.7 million also beat the $218.5 million estimate. The bank sees home equity loans growing by a high single-digit annualized percentage in the fourth quarter. Moog — The manufacturer of precision motor control systems rose more than 4%. Morgan Stanley upgraded shares to overweight from equal weight. The firm also lifted its price target to $448 from $405, suggesting about 23% upside from Thursday’s close. Shares have been on a tear in 2026, up more than 55%. Fox Factory — The vehicle suspension maker tumbled 9% after CEO Mike Dennison stepped down from his role. Fox’s board appointed Douglas Grimm as interim chief executive. The company also trimmed its full-year revenue outlook. Truist Financial — Shares ticked 2% higher after the regional bank posted third-quarter results. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.16, up 12% year over year. Adjusted revenue totaled $5.3 billion. Regions Financial — The bank gained nearly 2% on third-quarter earnings that beat the Street. Regions earned 73 cents per share, excluding certain items, while analysts polled by FactSet expected a profit of 66 cents per share. J.B. Hunt — The trucking giant slipped 3% on mixed third-quarter results. Revenue of $3.68 billion exceeded an LSEG forecast of $3.57 billion. However, adjusted earnings per share of $1.82 were just below the consensus of $1.89 per share. Tesla — Shares shed 1% after the EV maker unveiled its long-awaited second-generation Roadster . The vehicle uses SpaceX-developed rocket-style thrusters and demonstrated aerial maneuvers at the event Thursday. Tesla describes it as the world’s first flying car and expects production to begin in 2028. Alcoa — The aluminum producer rose more than 6% on better-than-expected earnings for the third quarter, helped by a rebound in its alumina business . CoreWeave — Shares of the neocloud provider fell 10% as Thursday’s bounce was short-lived. The stock has come under pressure this week as investors brace for higher interest rates that might impact the highly indebted company. Netflix — Shares fell 2% after the streaming giant announced a leadership shake-up. Chief content officer Bela Bajaria is leaving the company and will be replaced by former Disney executive Peter Rice. The change comes only a day after Netflix said it would cut roughly 6% of its workforce , or about 1,000 jobs. — CNBC’s Fred Imbert and Darla Mercado contributed reporting.
