SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Roofr, a CRM platform built for roofing contractors, launched a workflow-specific AI Receptionist, unlimited customizable user roles, and updates across Roofr Sites, Instant Estimator, and Proposals at their semi-annual Roofr Builds virtual product event today. Builds gives contractors and business owners a direct look at how Roofr’s CRM platform is evolving, and a case study in what a single connected system can do that a stack of disconnected point tools can’t.

Roofing businesses have long patched together separate software to assist with different parts of their business, including estimating, proposals, payments, and answering the phone. Often, these tools are built for other industries and retrofitted for roofing, not built around it. These new product and feature launches put Roofr one step closer to becoming a true all-in-one CRM for the roofing industry.

“Our mission is to be the trusted foundation for roofing professionals to build their success. With AI Receptionist and the steady stream of improvements across the platform, we’re delivering on that promise in a bigger way,” says Chief Product Officer Rajiv Jhurani. “Purpose-built software, built well and with the right goals, can be the difference between working all weekend and enjoying time with your family. With these new products and features, roofers can work smarter and win more jobs while keeping that balance.”

A receptionist built for roofing, not a generic answering script

Among the event’s headline announcements, Roofr’s AI Receptionist stands out. The tool is built around real roofing workflows: qualifying leads, booking appointments, and routing urgent calls the way a roofing business actually needs them handled. That’s a different scope than most AI answering services, which take notes instead of action and apply the same generic script across every industry they serve.

Unlimited, customizable user roles — no per-seat tax

Builds also introduced new, customizable user roles for teams using the Roofr CRM. Most CRMs charge by the seat, which means every new hire shows up as a line item. Roofr’s subscribed users get unlimited seats instead, so a growing team doesn’t come with a growing bill.

Updates across the platform

The event also showcased major updates to Roofr Sites, Instant Estimator, and Proposals, along with Spanish translation, bulk actions, and payment schedules. All of these updates strengthen Roofr’s push to replace single-purpose tools with one connected system.

Roofr says the goal behind Builds is bigger than any single feature: to push back on years of stagnation in roofing software and give contractors and business owners real input into the tools built for them — not software handed down from outside the industry.

You can learn more about the updates on the Roofr website.
