‘The power of doing this together versus trying to do it yourself is exponential. There’s a lot of MSP owners out there leaving value on the table because they’re trying to build everything alone. When we combine resources and knowledge, we can create something far bigger than any one of us could individually,’ says ITPartners CEO Kevin Damghani.
ITPartners is adding Buffalo, New York-based ASG 365 to its growing network of MSPs, continuing a strategy focused on collaboration over consolidation.
Founded in 2000, ASG 365 will tap into expanded cybersecurity, planning and engineering resources as part of the deal. Backed by $30 million in funding secured last summer, ITPartners is in active discussions with about 75 MSPs, a process CEO Kevin Damghani (pictured above) says centers less on financial engineering and more on building shared capabilities.
“The power of doing this together versus trying to do it yourself is exponential,” he told CRN in an exclusive interview. “There’s a lot of MSP owners out there leaving value on the table because they’re trying to build everything alone. When we combine resources and knowledge, we can create something far bigger than any one of us could individually.”

He added that the deal reflects the company’s ongoing strategy to bring together smaller MSPs while maintaining their entrepreneurial spirit and customer focus. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Building ASG has always been a labor of love. Working with our partners and building personal relationships has always been the key to ASG success,” Brian Atkinson, founder of ASG 365, said in a statement. “Finding ITPartners+ meant finding a team that gets that and gives us the depth to keep doing it well. I’m genuinely excited about what this allows us to do for the people we support.”
Atkinson is retiring but will remain involved as an advisor. The MSP’s four employees are coming over in the acquisition.
Damghani said cultural alignment and strong customer relationships played a key role in the decision to bring ASG 365 into the ITPartners family.
“They’ve spent a lot of time building real relationships with their customers,” he said. “That’s something we care deeply about. It’s not just about technology, it’s about trust, stability and being there for clients long term.”
The ASG 365 deal also expands ITPartner’s presence in the Northeast. ITPartners COO Denny Bouma said ASG 365 was a good fit not only for its culture but for its reputation with its clients.
“One of the first things we look at is revenue fit, but right underneath that is culture,” Bouma said. “Who is the owner? How do they treat their employees? How do they serve their customers? They’re very relational with their customers, and they’ve got relationships that go back 15 or 20 years. That kind of loyalty doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from consistently doing the right thing for clients.”
ASG 365 is just the latest deal for ITPartners, which expects to add several MSP partners in the coming months. By the end of summer, the company anticipates announcing three more deals, bringing the total number to seven.
“We’re really looking for MSPs in that one-to-five-million-dollar revenue range,” Damghani said. “The idea is simple, let’s build something better together as MSP owners rather than everyone trying to do it alone. We want to create a platform where MSP owners and employees share in the success. If we build this together, everybody wins.”
