“We are introducing the most advanced automation and cost optimization capabilities to address these market needs,” Nerdio CEO Vadim Vladimirskiy said.

Nerdio, an end-user computing management platform provider focused on Microsoft cloud offerings, has launched version 7.0 of its Manager for Enterprise product, bringing to users more tools, integration with Microsoft’s Intune endpoint management system, and a new pricing model for Windows 365 management.

The Chicago-based company says the latest version of Manager for Enterprise will help customers with cost predictability, security and endpoint management as they continue to shift to cloud computing, CEO Vadim Vladimirskiy said in a statement.

“With Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 7.0, we are introducing the most advanced automation and cost optimization capabilities to address these market needs and make Windows 365 and AVD [Azure Virtual Desktop] management simpler, more efficient, and more scalable than ever before,” he said.

Nerdio Manager For Enterprise 7.0

Nerdio unveiled the new edition of its platform at the company’s annual NerdioCon event kick off in Palm Springs, Calif. The conference runs through Wednesday.

The vendor also offers a Manager for MSPs, but solution providers have turned to both offerings depending on the use case.

The Nerdio conference also comes as the company takes a victory lap after securing a $500 millionSeries C investment to innovate its products and grow geographically. The virtual desktop and desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) markets have seen a great deal of activity after pricing changes at legacy virtualization vendors Citrix and VMware brought more attention to wares from competitors including Nerdio, Microsoft, Red Hat and Nutanix–bringing new business opportunities to solution providers partnered with those companies.

This year, Nerdio is working to migrate partners to cloud solutions and increase partners’ customer satisfaction ratings, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs.

Version 7.0 brings improved modeling, application migration tools, automated workflows and more for enabling the shift from on-premises infrastructure and legacy virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to Windows 365 and AVD, according to Nerdio.

The new version also adds enhanced usage dashboards, built-in remote support, better image management, and AI-powered licensing recommendations and usage analytics to prevent W365 and AVD overspending, according to the vendor. The new W365 pricing model is meant to provide more predictable costs and flexibility for W365 and AVD management.

Nerdio introduced a new $50 per tenant per month pricing model late last year.
