‘This is Schneider Electric doubling down and investing in partners to lead the AI revolution,’ says new Schneider Electric VP of Global IT Channel Ecosystem Leslie Vitrano Hubright.

Schneider Electric is ramping up its charge to help partners capitalize on the AI revolution with a new global AI and enterprise partner ecosystem organization.

“At Schneider Electric we recognize the transformative impact of the ongoing AI revolution and the significant opportunities it presents for our Strategic Alliances and Partner Ecosystem,” said Paul Tyrer, a 31-year Schneider Electric veteran who was named global vice president of the new AI Enterprise and Partner Ecosystem organization, in a LinkedIn post. “As it stands now, AI-powered solutions have the potential to revolutionize business operations and drive innovation like never before.”

Tyrer, who was previously vice president of the IT channel ecosystem, said the new organization is charged with helping “partners and their customers fully capitalize” on the unique AI opportunity.

“I look forward to leading a dedicated team focused on advancing the Enterprise AI opportunity and fostering a robust global AI Partner Ecosystem,” said Tyrer. “Additionally, I will lead initiatives within the Data Center and Networks Organization for AI in the enterprise space.”

Furthermore, Tyrer said, Schneider Electric’s transformation and pending acquisition of Motivair to enhance liquid cooling solutions positions Schneider and its partners to “fully seize the boundless opportunities presented by AI.”

As part of the AI ecosystem sales offensive, Schneider Electric has named channel stalwart Leslie Vitrano Hubright, a perennial CRN Channel Chief honoree and CRN Power 100 Women in Channel award winner, as vice president of global IT channel ecosystem.

Vitrano Hubright, a 15-year Schneider Electric veteran who was previously director of global IT channel strategy and innovation, said the new organization is aimed at accelerating the ability for Schneider and its ecosystem partners to deliver a new era of AI solutions.

“This is Schneider Electric doubling down and investing in partners to lead the AI revolution,” said Vitrano Hubright (pictured above). “Our combined teamwork is going to bring AI in a scalable way to the channel. Everyone in the channel should be excited about this! This shows once again that we are unwavering in our channel commitment.”

The new AI and enterprise partner ecosystem organization will be critical in developing new AI integrations and capabilities, said Vitrano Hubright.

With Schneider Electric’s data center sustainability expertise, the company is uniquely positioned to help partners capture the AI opportunity with new consulting and services capabilities, said Vitrano Hulbright. “Partners are asking for this because there is an appetite from their end customers to move faster globally with AI,” she said. “These new investments are going to pay off big time for partners.”

Patrick Shelley, chief technology officer (CTO) at PKA Technologies, a Montvale, N.J.-based Schneider Electric APC partner, said he is excited about the potential for the new Schneider Electric organization to help partners capture the AI data center opportunity.

“Schneider Electric has always been partner-focused,” he said. “They are constantly innovating and easy to work with. This is just one more example of them helping their partners.”

PKA Technologies, for its part, has established its own data center modernization and optimization service, which is helping customers adapt their data centers for AI solutions. “Data centers that were built 10 to 15 years ago need to be updated for the AI era,” he said.

For one PKA customer, 100 servers with about 900 Nvidia GPUs at a colocation provider are consuming more power and cooling than 10,000 servers at two other locations, said Shelley. “We have gotten really good at helping our customers optimize and retrofit their data centers for AI and other workloads,” he said. “We are doing a data center assessment every week at this point.”

Shelley said he sees Schneider Electric’s new organization as critical in taking advantage of the big changes coming to the data center. He sees data center power and management technologies changing more in the next five years than they did in the last 30 years.

“Schneider Electric understands where the market is going and where they need to be focused,” he said. “It’s great to see them stepping up on the AI opportunity.”
