Syncro Launches Unified XMM Platform In Collaboration With Microsoft

‘Security threats are increasing and so is complexity,’ says Michael George, Syncro CEO. ‘XMM addresses both by providing a unified solution that strengthens security while simplifying operations. Our message to MSPs is simple: Simplify your operations, secure your client and scale your business. XMM is your foundation to do exactly that.’

Syncro Tuesday launched XMM (extended monitoring and management), a unified IT and security management platform developed through an extensive collaboration with Microsoft.

Designed to tackle some of the biggest operational challenges facing MSPs, XMM consolidates remote monitoring and management, professional services automation and Microsoft 365 multitenant management into one streamlined platform.

“Today’s MSPs are grappling with a complex maze of tools and mounting security threats,” Michael George, CEO of Syncro, told CRN. “With XMM, we’re giving them a smarter way to work, reducing complexity, strengthening security and scaling more efficiently, all while leveraging the power of Microsoft’s security ecosystem.”

Built in the cloud, XMM integrates directly with Microsoft Secure Score, Defender Antivirus and Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), which enables MSPs to automate compliance monitoring, bolster their clients’ security postures and reduce operational overhead.

Dee Zepf, Syncro’s chief product officer, said that XMM is built to fundamentally change the operational model for MSPs.

“MSPs are tired of switching between 10 different dashboards just to manage one client,” she told CRN. “XMM brings everything into a single pane of glass—device management, security compliance, ticketing and Microsoft 365 administration—so they can deliver better service with less work.”

XMM features include full Microsoft 365 multitenant integration, security baselines and real-time compliance alerts, integrated service automation and ticketing, and AI-enhanced threat detection and ticket triage

“We built XMM so that MSPs can grow their businesses without growing their labor costs,” Zepf said. “It’s not just new tools; it’s a whole new way of running an MSP.”

“Integrating Syncro’s XMM platform into our operations is a game-changer,” said Vincent Williams, co-founder and CEO of Reading, Ohio-based Orchestrate Technologies.

“It allows us to eliminate redundant processes, react faster to client needs and ensure that every piece of our clients’ technology environment is aligned for optimal performance,” he told CRN in an email.

XMM is available immediately, with additional features set to roll out through the rest of 2025. In the future, George said Syncro’s road map is heavily focused on deepening AI integration and continuing to collaborate closely with Microsoft to bring enterprise-grade technologies to the SMB market.

“Security threats are increasing and so is complexity,” he said. “XMM addresses both by providing a unified solution that strengthens security while simplifying operations. Our message to MSPs is simple: Simplify your operations, secure your client and scale your business. XMM is your foundation to do exactly that.”
