Dr. Pachamanov’s expertise in wireless, broadband, and IP disputes reflects Quandary Peak’s commitment to technical depth in telecom and litigation consulting.

Dr. Pachamanov earned his PhD in Telecommunications Engineering before beginning his career at Ericsson, a global leader in telecom networks and services, where he held both technical and client-facing roles. He contributed to several pioneering projects, including Ericsson’s first end-to-end DVB-S2 satellite television platform—spanning digital headend, content acquisition, protection, and distribution, and satellite transmission. He helped design and build a sophisticated multimillion-dollar surveillance system in challenging terrain, integrating multiple sensor types into a single, unified, and secure network. He also played a key role in the design and delivery of client solutions across 3G and 4G/LTE network infrastructure, as well as telecom-specific OSS/BSS solutions for billing and mediation, service provisioning, and service assurance.

For more than a decade, Dr. Pachamanov has also served as a consultant in IP litigation. His work includes infringement and invalidity analyses in patent cases, trade secret misappropriation disputes, and copyright claims, with detailed evaluations of software and systems across a wide range of technologies. These include a broad set of technologies, including 5G/4G/LTE mobile networks, Wi-Fi, fixed-broadband telecommunications systems, Internet protocols, network security, ephemeral messaging platforms, AI/ML applications such as automotive collision detection, and medical devices. This combination of industry experience and technical depth enables him to translate sophisticated technologies into clear, defensible opinions and to deliver credible analyses and testimony in high-stakes intellectual property disputes.

“Radostin brings a rare mix of deep technical knowledge and real-world experience in telecommunications and litigation consulting,” said Dr. Mahdi Eslamimehr, Executive Vice President of Quandary Peak Research. “That combination makes him an outstanding addition to our team and strengthens the way we support clients in their most complex technical and legal challenges.”

“I am excited to be joining Quandary Peak’s exceptional team,” said Dr. Pachamanov. “I look forward to applying my technical expertise and telecommunications knowledge to help clients navigate the most challenging intellectual property litigation matters.”

As a Director, Dr. Pachamanov will lead telecommunications-related and other technology-intensive investigations, provide expert testimony and technical analysis in IP disputes, and advise clients on licensing and standards issues. His appointment underscores Quandary Peak’s commitment to deepening expertise in critical technology sectors.
