Arista Networks plans to introduce a series of new and updated products in its networking, artificial intelligence and ruggedized platforms portfolio by the first quarter of 2026.
The new and updated products reflect the Santa Clara, Calif.-based cloud and AI networking vendor’s ongoing campaign to apply AI principles through its Eos extensible operating system, NetDL unified data lake and Ava autonomous virtual assistant, Todd Nightingale, Arista president and chief operating officer, said in a statement. That approach should help customers and partners tackle vendor silos, tool sprawl and complexity.
“Arista is experiencing continual momentum in the campus, as customers see the benefit of a single, consistent network experience across all domains, including the AI and data center, cloud, campus, branch, and enterprise WAN,” Nightingale said.

Arista Networks Product Updates
Part of Arista’s Cognitive Campus scale updates include Arista Virtual Ethernet Segment with proxy address resolution protocol (ARP) for wireless local area network (WLAN) mobility. This incarnation of Arista Vespa aims to allow customers to deploy large-scale mobility domains, according to the vendor.
Vespa should help customers and partners overcome scaling limits from adding clients and connected devices, according to the vendor. Users can leverage Vespa to design Wi-Fi roaming domain networks with more than 500,000 clients, improve resiliency and assign a sub-second failover, among other use cases.
The Ava enhancements should lead users to autonomous networks to better manage campuses. Ava is powered by Eos and serves as an open, programmable interface for AI agent interactions with the network. AI agents also receive context to improve decision making.
The new ruggedized platforms Arista has introduced aim to bring more of the vendor’s portfolio to industrial and outdoor environments.
710HXP-28TXH and 710HXP-20TNH offer a 20-port Din Rail switch and a single rack unit (RU) 24-port switch. The platforms can withstand extreme temperatures, vibrations and shocks. They also support Wi-Fi 7 access points, high-powered outdoor security cameras and other devices, according to the vendor.
Arista reported its most recent quarterly earnings on Nov. 4. The vendor saw a 4.7 percent increase quarter on quarter in revenue to about $2 billion, up 28 percent year on year. Net income using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) was $853 million.
Product revenue came in below expectations with component shortages and wait times from suppliers like Broadcom, with inventories growing from $2.1 billion the prior quarter to $2.2 billion, Melius Research said in a report in November.
However, the good news is signs of continued strong underlying demand benefitting the company and its ecosystem into next year, according to the investment firm. About $7 billion in purchase commitments and inventory marked a 23 percent increase quarter on quarter.
The vendor said to expect revenue this quarter of $2.3 billion to $2.4 billion with a non-GAAP gross margin of 62 percent to 63 percent and a non-GAAP operating margin of 47 percent to 48 percent.
