Citrix Expands Partner Management Deal With Arrow Electronics

“We proved out that the model working with Arrow and our managed services partners works very well,” says Mark Sweeney, Citrix’s senior vice president of mid‑market growth and global commercial strategy.

Citrix is going deeper with its partnership with distributor Arrow Electronics, moving its entire Citrix Service Provider business under Arrow’s management for North America and Europe starting March 1.

Some of the goals for the expanded partnership include reducing duplicated commercial processes and giving solution providers one partner management style instead of one by the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based secure application and desktop delivery platform provider and one by the Centennial, Colo.-based distributor, Mark Sweeney, Citrix’s senior vice president of mid‑market growth and global commercial strategy, told CRN in an interview.

“We proved out that the model working with Arrow and our managed services partners works very well,” said Sweeney (pictured above).

Citrix-Arrow Partnership

Citrix partners working with Arrow will see enhanced tools, regional expertise and a deep commitment to enablement to empower them to deliver more value and provide customers greater agility, Cedric Doignie, Arrow’s vice president of strategic growth solutions for the global enterprise computing solutions business, said in a statement Thursday.

“This expanded agreement marks an exciting next chapter for Citrix Service Providers,” Doignie said.

CRN has reached out to Arrow for additional comment. The distributor’s top channel goals for 2026 include enabling partners to develop an AI strategy and sell AI solutions, according to CRN’s 2026 Channel Chiefs.

Mike Strohl, CEO of Irvine, Calif.-based Citrix partner e360–No. 138 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500–told CRN in an interview that his Citrix practice has moved more into a true consulting and services business, with growing interest around the parts of the Citrix portfolio that can make a user more secure and resilient.

“Citrix has a very robust adoption program and services program,” Strohl said. “We are front and center in that.”

Citrix previously struck a deal with Arrow in 2024 tasking the distributor with sales, marketing and technical support for channel partners consuming less than 2,000 Citrix Service Provider licenses across North America and Europe. The deal went further in 2025 to make Arrow the sole Citrix distributor for all channel partners in North America and Europe.

Under the deal extension, Arrow will manage service provider partner transactions, pricing, discounts, incentives and engagement across North America and Europe, Citrix said in a statement Thursday.

Allowing Arrow to manage both the midmarket, non-enterprise customers as well as the Citrix managed services provider (MSP) business should give partners a more seamless experience working in both businesses because they don’t have to go to Citrix for one business and Arrow for another, Sweeney said.

Citrix and Arrow will work together on more enablement for partners around the vendor’s newer opportunities such as the Citrix Secure Private Access integration with Google’s Chrome Enterprise Premium browser and the recently acquired capabilities such as those from endpoint operating system provider Unicon and cloud development environments provider Strong Network.

Citrix can also focus more resources on technical innovation and support, among other areas, Sweeney said. Citrix’s enterprise team will still manage those largest customers.

“This model, it’s actually giving us an opportunity to enable partners at scale, which is something that I think is a huge benefit to them,” he said.
