AWS Solution Provider Caylent Unveils Dedicated Anthropic Claude Unit

‘The state of enterprise adoption and the pace there is growing so fast that it really made sense for us to incubate this in this way,’ says Ryan Gross, Caylent’s head of data and applications.

Solution provider Caylent is leveraging its Amazon Web Services prowess and charter Anthropic Partner Network status to deliver a dedicated practice and new business unit focused on the latter’s Claude platform.

The Irvine, Calif.-based solution provider, which is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and a charter Anthropic Claude Partner Network member, built its Anthropic Consulting & Engineering (ACE) unit to keep pace with how business operations are changing in the AI and agentic era, Ryan Gross, Caylent’s head of data and applications, told CRN in an interview.

“How do you build an enterprise in 2026? You put everything in a Git repository and you give Claude Code and Cowork access to that so that you can ensure that you maintain intelligence across all of the different things you’re doing,” Gross said. “The state of enterprise adoption and the pace there is growing so fast that it made sense for us to really incubate this in this way. Not saying that it’ll be that way forever, but it gives us different ways of working.”

Caylent Launches Dedicated Anthropic Claude Practice

Phil Samenuk, Anthropic’s head of partnerships, said in a statement that Caylent making a dedicated practice leverages the solution provider’s deep technical credibility and clear enterprise delivery model, attributes the AI startup seeks in its emerging channel partner program.

“Enterprises adopting Claude and building agentic systems benefit from partners who can match the pace of the technology, and ACE is built to do exactly that,” Samenuk said.

Caylent’s move also comes as AWS and Anthropic grow closer as partners, with AWS users soon having access to the full Claude platform directly within AWS. Users will have the ability to use existing AWS accounts, access controls and billing without additional credentials or contracts.

Businesses interested in adopting Claude can leverage AWS’ security, governance and integration infrastructure to reach enterprise scale and Caylent’s prowess in both ecosystems, according to the solution provider.

Caylent, a portfolio company of Gryphon Investors, has also been on an expansion tear including its purchase this month of Pronetx, a customer experience consulting firm with Amazon Connect expertise.

Inside Caylent’s ACE Unit

ACE aims to provide Caylent customers the ability to go from early Claude Enterprise adoption to full agentic transformation while keeping up with Anthropic’s rapid pace of innovation, according to the solution provider. Claude Enterprise has become Caylent’s most requested technology in the AWS customer base.

Caylent has built and deployed more than 500 AI workloads on Amazon Bedrock, but Claude Enterprise implementations drive more token consumption than 98 percent of those workloads combined, according to the solution provider.

The unit aims to give customers proven delivery patterns, governance frameworks and operating models for AI acceleration, according to the solution provider. ACE has a separate operating model, talent profile and way of delivering outcomes compared with the traditional Caylent business.

Caylent has set ACE up with two tracks for customers. The agentic software development lifecycle (SDLC) track is meant to enable engineering organizations to embed Claude Code end to end, with the Agentic SDLC Catalyst workshop as the entry point. The workshop gives engineering teams direct, hands-on experience with Claude Code inside a customer’s environment, with potential for programs down the road.

The separate applied AI track is a forward-deployed engineer (FDE) model that is meant to help Anthropic customers build Claude-powered products and services, according to Caylent. This team works inside client codebases and architecture decisions to deliver production-grade AI systems, evaluation frameworks and outcome packages. ACE is aiming the applied AI track at ISVs transitioning from Software as a Service to agentic architectures.

ACE has outcome-based pricing and fixed-fee terms where measurement is feasible to better reflect how agentic work flows and as a twist on the structure of traditional consulting engagements. Resources are meant to match agentic delivery cadence by working across multiple engagements simultaneously.

“Particular ways of working will be more highly agentic through the process,” Gross told CRN. “When we present to customers, rather than building decks and documents and so forth, we’re just building HTML microsites and giving them access and links into those so that we can have a lot more dynamic content in it. It’s actually much easier to edit and build those than it is to build a slide deck once you’ve got the right frameworks in place.”

And ACE’s developing practice should yield benefits for Caylent’s broader organization, compounding customer returns and accelerating adoption at every customer tier, according to the solution provider.
