Latest RideAware Update Brings Real-Time Trip Visibility to Arabic, Dari, Amharic, Nepali, Somali, French, and Vietnamese-Speaking Families, Joining Existing English and Spanish Support

Caregivers and authorized school staff can now use RideAware in nine languages: English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Vietnamese, Dari, Amharic, Nepali, and Somali. The expansion gives more families the ability to track their student’s ride in real time, view driver and vehicle information, receive pickup and dropoff notifications, and manage trip changes, all in their native language.
RideAware syncs ride information securely across caregivers, districts, and drivers servicing EverDriven trips into a single view of the student journey. With this update, that same visibility now reaches families who speak seven additional languages, reflecting the growing linguistic diversity of the districts EverDriven serves.

RideAware: Now Available in Nine Languages
RideAware gives caregivers and authorized school staff real-time visibility into a student’s ride. New users are automatically greeted in their device’s default language when one of the nine supported languages is detected, and existing users can switch languages at any time under Settings.
To protect student privacy and safety, only authorized adults can access trip information in RideAware. In any of the nine supported languages, caregivers and school staff can:
- Track Rides with Confidence: Follow a student’s ride as it happens in real time, with driver and vehicle information available directly from a phone.
- Make Updates with Ease: Modify or cancel a trip when a student is sick or plans change, with updates available up to two hours before pickup.
- Choose Their Preferred Language: Select from nine supported languages under Settings, with the app defaulting to a device’s language setting automatically.
- Receive Pickup and Dropoff Notifications: Schools get notifications when a student is picked up, reducing calls to drivers, uncertain ETAs, and unnecessary coordination efforts.
