Control-M SaaS availability on AWS Sydney Region expands global support for data sovereignty compliance

HOUSTON, Sept. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — BMC, a global leader in software solutions enabling business faster than humanly possible, announced that the Control-M SaaS solution is now available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sydney Region, providing compliance with regional data sovereignty requirements in Australia.

This availability strengthens the company’s commitment to helping customers in the Asia-Pacific region to meet the evolving regulatory and compliance expectations in industries such as government, financial services, and healthcare, where data locality is critical.

The Control-M SaaS solution is also available in AWS Regions in Ireland, Canada, and the U.S., supporting the global growing demand for data residency, performance, and resiliency.

AWS Regions consist of Availability Zones that place infrastructure in separate and distinct geographic locations. Availability Zones are located far enough from each other to support customers’ business continuity, but near enough to provide low latency for high availability applications that use multiple Availability Zones. Each Availability Zone has independent power, cooling, and physical security and is connected through redundant, ultra-low-latency networks.

“Providing our Control-M SaaS solution on the AWS Sydney Region in Australia marks an important milestone in our global expansion strategy. We’re deeply committed to enabling customer success by bringing our SaaS platform closer to where our users operate, ensuring performance, security, and compliance at every step,” said Abhijit Kakhandiki, senior vice president and general manager for Digital Business Automation at BMC. “Our Australian customers will also now experience Jett, our gen AI assistant for the Control-M SaaS solution that empowers users across the business to get workflow-related insights using common language and without specialized training or domain knowledge.”

The Control-M SaaS solution allows customers to jumpstart and scale their automation efforts without costly hardware deployment and take advantage of the scalability and reliability that only Control-M can deliver with 30 years of innovation.
