With Thuraisingam joining Canada’s largest communications company, Cisco’s SVP of field and customer marketing is stepping in to lead global partner marketing in the interim.
Luxy Thuraisingam, Cisco’s head of global partner marketing for the last four years, has left the company.
The marketing veteran has jumped to Bell, Canada’s largest communications company, where she has joined the telecom giant as vice president of wireless marketing, consumer and SMB.
Bryan Jones, senior vice president of field and customer marketing, is stepping in as interim global partner marketing lead, a spokesperson for Cisco told CRN.

Thuraisingam told CRN in an email that she is excited to be joining Bell to help shape the wireless strategies for the Bell, Virgin Plus, and Lucky Mobile brands.
“My focus will be on engaging with customers and sales and collaborating closely with our teams and partners – working together to enhance the customer experience, strengthen brand positioning, and drive growth in the wireless consumer and small business segments nationwide,” she said.
Thuraisingam, a member of CRN’s Women of the Channel Power 100 list, has more than two decades of marketing experience, which includes supporting channel partners and emerging IT consumption models, such as cloud and everything as-a-service. Prior to her role leading global partner marketing for San Jose, Calif.-based Cisco from 2021-2025, she joined the company in 2019 to lead Canadian marketing.
In her new role, Thuraisingam is returning to her telecom roots. Prior to her time with Cisco, she led marketing for two different Canadian telecommunications companies. She served as director of digital performance marketing for Rogers Communications and senior marketing manager for Telus Corp.
Andy Wright, senior vice president of wireless at Bell, told CRN in an email that Thuraisingam “brings a fresh perspective and deep industry knowledge” to Bell.
“She’s known for building strong teams and delivering results, and I’m confident her marketing leadership will help us connect even more with our customers and continue to showcase the strength of our network and services,” Wright said.
