Following a successful demonstration of its UNO OT Phase I Basis of Prototype, CodeMettle has been selected as a key network operations (NetOps) software solution for the UNO Program of Record (PoR).

ATLANTA, Oct. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — CodeMettle has been awarded an Army UNO Phase II subcontract under Research Innovations Incorporated (RII) following a successful, competitive Phase I demonstration earlier this year at the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, and Network’s (PEO C3N’s) lab at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This award marks a critical step in advancing the Army’s unified network strategy.

The UNO PoR aims to strengthen the Department of Defense’s operational effectiveness by making the Army’s tactical network more reliable, secure, and resilient. A key goal of the program is to ease the workload on Signal Soldiers by simplifying how they plan, maintain, and defend their networks.

“Being selected as a key NetOps software solution provider for UNO is a testament to our commitment over the past five years to fill the need for a comprehensive commercial suite of NetOps software products,” said Richard Graham, CEO at CodeMettle. “We’re excited to continue innovating alongside the Army and RII to build a more secure, efficient, and Soldier-friendly Tactical Network Operations (TNO) solution.”

With this Phase II contract, the CodeMettle team will support the integration and enhancement of the TNO prototype solution using established Agile and DevSecOps commercial best practices to help deliver a fieldable Minimum Viable Product that aligns with the Army’s initial network unification goals and objectives, and that can be easily and efficiently advanced and sustained over time.

Building the Bridge to NextGen C2

The UNO TNO solution is designed to integrate with one of the Army’s top modernization priorities, Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2). NGC2 breaks down the silos between different warfighting systems and brings them together in one connected, software-driven ecosystem that works from the highest strategic levels down to the lowest tactical echelons. By creating a secure, resilient, and agile UNO TNO solution, military networks will be able to handle the advanced data, applications, and decision-making tools that NGC2 will depend on as it scales across the Army.
