FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ott | In-Situ is pleased to announce the release of the Deployment Report, a new feature of In-Situ’s VuSitu mobile app. The Deployment Report automatically compiles instrument settings, site details, and field notes into a single, consolidated record the moment a technician finishes setting up the site.
The deployment report feature is the latest addition to VuSitu, the mobile app that serves as a personal field assistant by guiding technicians through instrument setup, calibration, and deployment on-site. VuSitu now expands to move field documentation off clipboards and spreadsheets, into a single Deployment Report that can be instantly accessed from HydroVu before leaving the field.
The report compiles field notes, sonde settings, and telemetry data into one formatted record that technicians can view, export, or share with their team. Available across the Aqua TROLL series, Level TROLL, Rugged TROLL, RDO Blue, RDO Trio, and VuLink, it captures site and technician details, instrument settings, deployment observations, fouling issues, calibration events, and sensor swaps as they happen in the field. Technicians can log this information directly in VuSitu and reference the finished report later from any device.
“We wanted to give technicians one place where their notes, instrument settings, and site data all come together automatically, right when they finish setting up their deployment,” said Tom Koniuta, Product Manager at Ott | In-Situ. “The Deployment Report helps teams confidently set about their field tasks without worrying about detailed record keeping. These files can be referenced years later to help understand the data sets.”
The Deployment Report is available now in the latest version of VuSitu, for iOS and Android. For more information, visit in-situ.com/deployment-report.
