Myriad360 Has ‘Big Growth Ambitions’ With One Equity Partners Taking A Majority Stake: CEO Jay Miley

‘This gives us access to capital that otherwise would have been harder to get,’ says Myriad360 CEO Jay Miley. ‘Our objective is really, really clear and simple: It is sustainable growth at greater scale and reach while preserving the leadership culture and client focus that has made Myriad360 successful.’

Myriad360 CEO Jay Miley Thursday said the majority stake in the $1 billion-plus CRN Solution Provider 500 powerhouse from midmarket private equity firm One Equity Partners (OEP) is going to fuel ‘big growth ambitions” with M&A and geographic expansion.

“We’re doing this simply so we can continue to expand,” said Miley after OEP, with its headquarters in New York, acquired a 51 percent stake in Myriad360, No. 85 on the 2026 CRN Solution Provider 500. “We have big growth ambitions.”

Those “big growth” ambitions will now be fueled by a capital infusion from OEP, which has a deep understanding of the channel and has invested in other solution providers.

Among OEP’s investments are Orion Innovation, an Iselin, N.J.-based digital transformation service provider; Kinley, a Wall, N.J.-based audio visual focused-solution provider; Trustmarque, a U.K.-based hardware software reseller; and Kirey Group, an Italy-based systems integrator.

“This gives us access to capital that otherwise would have been harder to get,’ said Miley. “Our objective is really, really clear and simple: It is sustainable growth at greater scale and reach while preserving the leadership culture and client focus that has made Myriad360 successful.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The cash infusion is sure to fuel additional M&A, said Miley. “OEP brings a lot of expertise in acquisitions,” he said. “They are going to bring the expertise and capital that will allow us to do that. That is the objective.”

Miley said the M&A focus will be on companies that “fit with the Myriad360 culture” and help it expand geographically or with additional technology solutions capabilities.

The Myriad360 M&A march comes on the heels of two Myriad360 acquisitions this year: Dell Titanium partner and Nvidia Trailblazer Partner of the Year Advizex, led by industry veteran CEO C.R. Howdyshell, and the assets of health-care superstar F3 Technology Partners, led by founder Jeff Monnes.

The OEP investment will also open the door for Myriad360 to “triple down” on enterprise AI, cybersecurity and making sure companies have adopted data strategies that ensure they are successful in deploying AI solutions, said Miley.

Miley said he sees the AI buildout moving from infrastructure into the heart of the enterprise market. “Phase one was about the infrastructure buildout in the cloud service provider and neocloud market,” he said. “Phase two is the enterprise. It is already there, but it is going to come fast and furious soon to enterprise CIOs. We are going to help those CIOs along that journey. That is a big priority for us.”

Another big priority is to continue to build out Myriad360’s cybersecurity business. “If you don’t have a good cybersecurity strategy and a good data strategy, you are not going to be successful with AI,” he said.

Miley stressed that Myriad360 has already been making significant investments in building out its engineering and technical capabilities in AI, cybersecurity and data strategies.

In fact, Miley said, the company has a ratio of three engineers to every salesperson. “It’s not just a salesperson; it is a salesperson with very, very talented engineering and a good support structure,” he said. “We’ve already been doing that. This is just going to accelerate our pace in doing it.”

Miley said both he and Andrew Fisher, who founded the company 23 years ago and is chief culture officer, will retain their positions and become part of the board of directors for the company. “It was important to us to have a real stake in the company,” he said.

Miley, a 27-year industry veteran who has had roles in distribution at Ingram Micro and solution provider PCM, said preserving the “culture” at Myriad360 is a top priority.

“We’re proud of our culture,” he said. “We love what we do. We love our clients. We’re a client-first and people-first company. They go hand in hand. You treat your people well, and your clients get treated well. It is a flywheel. We want to continue what we are doing for the long haul.”

To that point, Fisher’s sole responsibility is to keep the company’s culture “alive and flourishing,” said Miley.

“The Myriad360 yesterday and the Myriad360 tomorrow is the same,’ he said. “I’m still CEO. Andy is still responsible for making sure the culture stays strong.”

Miley said the key to making the private equity deal was OEP’s knowledge of the solution provider market. “They like VARs, believe it or not,” he said. “A lot of people think ‘VAR’ is a four-letter word. I think it’s a great word. The key is we bring a lot of value to the equation. We are a global systems integrator, but our roots are as a VAR. We are proud of it, and OEP is also proud of it. They wouldn’t have made an investment in our company if they didn’t think the future is bright in the ecosystem we play in.”

As for that “bright” future, Miley said he is as “bullish” as he has ever been on the prospects for VARs and technology solution providers.

“What the industry is experiencing right now and the tailwinds that are at our back because of AI is going to keep solution providers like Myriad360 thriving for years and years and years to come,” he said.
