Round 2 Lead Changes: HP’s Lannum, Arctic Wolf’s Skelley Surge In Weekend Madness Voting

After weekend voting in Round 2 of the CRN Channel Madness Tournament, the two matchups in the Transformation region have gotten wild.

With weekend voting in the books and less than 24 hours of Round 2 voting left, the Solutions 16 are bringing everything they have to the 2026 Channel Madness Tournament of Chiefs in their efforts to make it to the quarterfinals.

The hottest matchups of the Round are taking place in the Transformation region, where contestants who were trailing on Friday have now jumped out in front Monday.

HP Inc.’s Scott Lannum orchestrated a weekend rally and now has 58 percent of the vote in his matchup with Cloudflare’s Christine McElduff, who has 42 percent.

Arctic Wolf’s Bob Skelley dug deep to grab the lead with 54 percent of the vote in his matchup with Red Hat’s Jennifer Heard, who’s at 46 percent.

Meanwhile in the Innovation region, Nutanix’s Christian Goffi is building on his lead with 66 percent of the vote against Dell Technologies’ Denise Millard, who has 34 percent.

In the Evolution region, Sophos’ Scott Barlow looks unstoppable with 78 percent of the vote against SentinelOne’s Brian Lanigan, who has 22 percent.

Transformation

Christine McElduff, Cloudflare, 42 percent vs. Scott Lannum, HP Inc., 58 percent

Bob Skelley, Arctic Wolf, 54 percent vs. Jennifer Heard, Red Hat, 46 percent

Acceleration

Michael DePalma, OpenText, 32 percent vs. Michael Rogers, CrowdStrike, 68 percent

Dan Tomaszewski, Kaseya, 30 percent vs. Lisa Citron, F5, 70 percent

Innovation

Christian Goffi, Nutanix, 66 percent vs. Denise Millard, Dell Technologies, 34 percent

Larissa Crandall, 1Password, 54 percent vs. Wade McFarland, Lenovo, 46 percent

Evolution

Kevin Rooney, Veeam Software, 56 percent vs. Landon Scott, Fortinet, 44 percent

Scott Barlow, Sophos, 78 percent vs. Brian Lanigan, SentinelOne, 22 percent

Voting in Round 2 remains open until noon ET on Tuesday, March 24, so there’s still time to head to CRN.com/madness to cast your votes and choose your chief!
