Semiconductor leader brings more than two decades of executive leadership expertise with a primary focus in Global Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
KISTA, Sweden, Feb. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Sivers Semiconductors AB (STO: SIVE), a global leader in photonics and wireless technologies, today announced the appointment of Alexander McCann as a strategic Senior Advisor to the Board and the CEO. In this role, Mr. McCann’s primary focus will be on strengthening and scaling the company’s photonics operations.
Mr. McCann joins Sivers Semiconductors with more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the semiconductor industry. He has played a key role in driving world-class global operations and supply chain strategies for leading semiconductor companies, including Linear Technology Corp., Analog Devices Inc., and Dialog Semiconductor Ltd.

Mr. McCann was formerly the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Dialog Semiconductor, where he oversaw global operations and supply chain management. During his tenure, he was part of the executive team that successfully executed Dialog’s $6 billion sale to Renesas Electronics in 2021.
Prior to joining Dialog Semiconductor, Mr. McCann served as Vice President of Global Operations of Analog Devices where he led all operational functions including global multi-site manufacturing, engineering, facilities, customer service, supply chain functions and engineering support. Before joining Analog Devices, Mr. McCann also served as Chief Operating Officer at Linear Technology Corp for more than a decade. During his time as COO, he helped successfully execute a $14 billion sale to Analog Devices in 2017.

He also sits on the boards of LUMEOVA and Probe Test Solutions Ltd (PTSL).
