Sublime Security Debuts First Partner Program To Boost Agentic Email Security In The Channel

With the help of solution providers, the startup is seeking to accelerate the growth of its platform that utilizes AI agents to rapidly deploy updated defenses for inboxes.

Sublime Security on Tuesday announced its first formal channel program as the startup seeks to accelerate the growth of its agentic email security platform with the help of solution and service provider partners, according to Channel Chief Timm Hoyt.

As threat actors have utilized LLMs, attacks originating through inboxes have become far more personalized and targeted—leading to more-effective phishing and social engineering campaigns, said Hoyt, vice president for worldwide partners and alliances at Sublime Security.

“These attacks through email—which still remains the No. 1 penetration point for any cyber incident—have gotten a lot more sophisticated and frequent,” he said. “What we find is that traditional ways of protecting are not meeting the needs of personalization to that company.”

Founded in 2019, Sublime Security’s agentic email security platform utilizes AI agents to automate threat triaging and rapidly deploy updated defenses for inboxes.

The startup’s AI agents include an Autonomous Security Analyst, which provides automated investigation and triaging for email threats. The platform also offers an Autonomous Detection Engineer agent, which can provide tailored defense capabilities for protecting against previously unknown email threats, according to Sublime.

At cybersecurity-focused solution provider GuidePoint Security, it’s been clear that there is a need for a new approach to email security in a threat environment increasingly dominated by AI-enabled attacks, according to GuidePoint’s Mark Thornberry.

GuidePoint, No. 37 on CRN’s 2025 Solution Provider 500, has been working with Sublime Security since the start of the year—and Sublime has quickly become one of the fastest-growing emerging vendors for the solution provider, he said.

Overall, “they’re approaching the space in a different way,” said Thornberry, senior vice president for partnerships at Herndon, Va.-based GuidePoint. “I have appreciated the methodical, measured approach that Timm and his team have taken.”

A veteran channel and sales leader, Hoyt joined Sublime Security in September 2025. He previously served in executive roles at companies including Sumo Logic, Druva and Brocade.

In October 2025, Sublime Security announced raising a $150 million Series C funding round led by Georgian.

Key features of the new Sublime Security channel program include partner margin protection on customer renewals and expansions, in addition to strong margins for new customer wins, according to Hoyt.

“The margin in that first transaction continues on for the lifetime value of that customer,” he said. “So whether that is an expansion or renewal, we’re not collapsing margin—which we see vendors do often.”

Ultimately, the goal for Sublime Security is to continue adding to its partner base with a focus on working with solution and service providers that can bring security expertise as well as a track record in engaging with customers on emerging technologies, Hoyt said.

Crucially, the technology that Sublime offers for helping organizations to tune their email security in a more dynamic fashion should only become more relevant going forward, given the intensifying threat landscape, he said.

Leveraging Sublime’s AI agents, partners “can write new rules in hours versus the traditional way of asking the vendor through a customer support ticket,” Hoyt said.

Without a doubt, Sublime has developed both a compelling product and a strong strategy for going to market and working with partners, according to GuidePoint’s Thornberry.

That includes taking partner feedback into account with the introduction of the startup’s formal channel program, which lays the groundwork for continued strong growth ahead, Thornberry said.

“We’re really excited about the partnership prospects,” he said. “Because they built it the right way, it’s built to scale.”
